Funny story of how I became a fan of Wedding Photography in Savannah…
Savannah Wedding Photographer - not so much… it took a while to come around to me.
I took my wife to Savannah for one of our early Anniversaries and thought that I planned this awesome romantic get away... HA!! There a ton of construction going on, it smelled terrible, and we felt like the only thing to do was to go on ghost tours! To top it off, for some reason I booked a modern looking hotel... Why would I book a modern hotel instead of a Bed and breakfast??? No idea!! Needless to say, we hated it and our 4 day trip turned to a quick 2 days. We couldn’t leave fast enough.
Since then, I have photographed 6-7 weddings in Savannah and I have fallen in love! I’ve found amazing food, breakfast, coffee and the people. The streets have such history and character that I love to use in my photography. The more I travel to Savannah the more I fall for it. I hope that I continue to get to document weddings there, it’s an amazing town!
