I got an email from Kelli when she inquired with me, and she asked first if I was available for her date and second if I was available, would I be willing to go to the Bahamas to shoot her wedding... These emails are always tough because you have no choice to get excited about what you "might" get to do, but you also don't want to get your hopes up... When I met with Kelli and Buddy, I could tell with in seconds that we were the perfect fit! Not to mention, the way they talked about how they envisioned their wedding, I knew that it was going to be epic! They said that they wanted a photographer that wanted to tell their story so that their friends and family that couldn't make it, would feel like they were there! Teh wanted it documented with the things that reminded them of the Island all the way to the Day After session... These were my type of clients! Harbour Island is only 3 miles long by a mile wide, and the only way to get there is by boat... We had to fly into North Eleuthera airport and take a taxi to the Boat Taxi... and then over to Harbour Island... When I landed I immediately understood why Harbour Island takes a little piece of your heart. The locals there are the nicest in the Islands and they take pride in that! When I normally when I talk to a client about their wedding, I envision the things that they describe, bigger than what they turn out to be... That wasn't the case for this one... Kelli and Buddy's wedding went beyond my expectations and Ben, with Little Island Design, blew me away with how he works some serious magic on such a little island... If anyone is in need of a Designer and Planner for their wedding look him up, I can't say enough about him! I want to thank my good friend Ben for coming along to help document this wedding, this will be one of those experiences that I will never forgot! Thanks brother! And lastly, to Kelli and Buddy, thank you for alloying me to travel, see a place that most likely that I would have no clue about, eat the best Banana French Toast that I've ever had in my life (which I would go back to Harbour Island just to go to the Landing;) and spending so amazing time with you, telling the story of the beginning of your lives, I'm forever grateful!!
